Allegiance: Scorch is a Skywing, currently loyal only to himself.
Role/s: Officially he’s a servant missing from Skywing queen’s palace, but he’d never been satisfied with that position anyways.

Talents: Very good at sneaking and air maneuvering, quite decent at drawing and hunting
Skills: Able to read text as well as maps, able to write and has good knowledge of ancient stories, other tribes and their royalty
Appearance: He’s a young dragon, smaller than other Skywings his age should be. He’s blandly orange with bright yellow eyes, which reflect his intelligence and desperation covered behind determination, also madness.
His horns are shorter than average and one of them is missing its tip. He’s pretty weak and slim in general, but his small body with huge wings make him a very good and agile flyer, even for Skywing standards.
Personality:
Scorch is intelligent and quite educated dragon blinded by his intent – avenge his fathers’ death by annihilating all the scavengers. As he started killing them, he found that it brings him sort of relief and satisfaction that always drives him to find another scavenger settlement and repeat the process. If he’s unsuccessful in finding any more targets for longer period of time, he starts feeling uncomfortable and anxious. When that happens, he starts talking to amulet his father gave him, and starts apologizing and promising, that the next day, he will continue in his revenge.
Most of the time Scorch tries to avoid talking with other dragons, unless he needs something from them. Other dragons to him are nothing more than obstacle in his path. There is one exception though – animus dragons. Scorch likes talking to them about their powers and also tries to find a way to use them.
He used to be fascinated by Icewings, but lately Scorch pretty much stopped caring about other dragons, though he still gets uncomfortable, while talking to Nightwings.
Scorch is also extremely paranoid and overprotective, when it comes to his amulet – he keeps it with him all the time and who knows what would happen, if he ever lost it. He believes it contains soul of his father and also that it is animus touched by his father to protect him (it really is not).
Besides the loss of his amulet, he is also afraid of deep water and refuses to come anywhere near lakes or bigger rivers. He also gets very uncomfortable, while he is inside a forest – he doesn’t like the thought of being unable to fly freely.

He’s also been pretty curious and liked to spend time with his father, Heat, who was an animus dragon and was completely loyal to Skywing queen. Scorches mother - Agate - died when he was very little, and so did his brothers, so he doesn’t remember them at all.
They all lived in cave, not far from the Skywing royal palace, until one night, when scavengers snuck into their home and killed Heat before he could do anything to defend himself. Scorch managed to wake up and assaulted scavengers back with his flame, but most of them ran off with everything, they had time to pick up from his fathers’ treasure.
Scorch was devastated by the death of his father, but he kept on working in palace as servant, until scavengers came once again. He would probably end up wounded or dead, if group of dragons in palace didn't notice them and wouldn't come to save him. Nothing happened, really, but night after that, Scorches amulet started talking to him, urging him to seek revenge. That was the last bit that made him go pretty much insane and obsessed with killing pretty much innocent creatures.
