CHARACTER CREATION GUIDE
So you want to make a character for Talons Beyond? Whether you're a newbie wanting to create a believable, interesting first character or an experienced user coming back for a refresher, you've come to the right place!
1. Choosing the right tribe
There are the seven Pyrrhian dragon tribes to choose from to create your first character. All of the tribes speak the same language, but each tribe has a different biological makeup and culture distinct from one-another. MudWings, SandWings, SkyWings, SeaWings, IceWings, RainWings and NightWings. Pantalan tribes are off-limits, since Talons Beyond is set only is Pyrrhia!
MudWings
MudWings are strong, burly, brown-coloured dragons that love mud. MudWings can breathe fire but only when warm enough. These tough dragons can also hold their breaths for up to an hour. MudWings lay several eggs at a time, and leave them to catch. These siblings groups are called 'sibs' by MudWings. The first hatchling will instinctively help their siblings break their eggs, and these dragons will grow up to be leaders of their siblings. These dragons are known as 'bigwings'.
SandWings
SandWings are dessert-dwelling sand-coloured dragons with a scorpion-like stinger at the end of their tails. They are able to survive with little food and water, and are able to breathe fire.
SkyWings
Agile and fast, SkyWings are red and orange dragons that live high in the mountains. They can breathe the hottest fire out of all the tribes.
SeaWings
SeaWings live underwater, and are able to communicate in 'aquatic', an underwater language spoken by flashing various bioluminescent scales in a certain manner. SeaWings have gills to breathe underwater and thick tails and webbed talons for swimming. SeaWings cannot breathe anything out of their mouths.
IceWings
Highly sophisticated dragons with a unique social system, IceWings are also specially adapted to cold climates, capable of withstanding the coldest of temperatures. They are able to breath 'frostbreath', a cold, deadly substance capable of freezing almost anything. IceWings also have serrated claws, easily gripping onto ice, and also tearing flesh with minimal effort compared to other tribes.

Try to break stereotypes and don't be afraid to try wacky and wonderful things! MudWings are generally seen as tough, big and powerful, but why not make a shy, gentle MudWing? Or a SkyWing with a fear of blood? The possibilities are endless!
